The tools are not the hard part
Almost everyone we meet is in the same position: one chatbot, opened occasionally, on whatever settings it shipped with. The results are fine but generic, so it never quite becomes a habit, and the conclusion is that the whole thing was oversold.
Meanwhile the tools got genuinely good at different things. One is better at long documents, another at research it can cite, another at images. Some of them now do work while you are asleep. Almost nobody has been told any of this, because the people explaining it are usually selling something.
Training is the cheapest part of adopting AI and the part most often skipped. You already pay for most of the tools. What's missing is a couple of hours with someone who uses them every day.

Search that phrase and you get video libraries. Forty hours of recordings, a certificate at the end, and a completion rate nobody publishes. If that's what you want, they're cheap and they're fine.
This is the other thing. Sessions run live in small groups, so you can stop and ask what any of it means for your business, and get an answer about your business rather than the example business in the slides. Why this one
Most AI training is delivered by people who sell AI tools, or by platforms selling seats in a course library. We come at it from security, which is why our sessions start with what you are already exposing instead of a feature tour.
Empowerment AI is run by a cybersecurity professional who uses these tools daily to actually run this business. The demos are things that are running, not slideware, and when something does not work well yet we say so.

How do I learn to use ChatGPT for my small business?
Start with one real task, not with the tool. Pick something you do every week: writing quotes, answering the same customer questions, drafting posts. Learn to do that one thing well before you add anything else. Most people stall because they open a chat window with no job in mind, get a generic answer back, and conclude the whole thing was oversold. Usually the tool was fine and the question was the problem. The free 60-minute AI 101 covers what exists and which tool suits which job. The paid sessions do the hands-on work, on tasks you bring.
What AI training do you offer?
Five formats. A free 60-minute AI 101 online, open to anyone. Single 90-minute to 2-hour workshops on one topic. A half-day hands-on session for a team of five to twenty-five. One-to-one coaching, hourly or in a short block. And multi-session custom programs for an association or organization. Everything runs live online. Is the training live or pre-recorded?
Live, and online. We are not selling seats in a course library. The value is that you can ask about your own business mid-session and get an answer, which a recording cannot do. Sessions can be recorded for your team afterwards if you want them.
Do you offer an AI automation course?
Not a recorded one. Two of our live workshops cover automation directly, Agents 101 and From Chatting to Delegating, and they run in small groups so you can bring a real process from your own business and leave with it automated. If you want a video library instead, Udemy and Coursera sell those cheaply and we would rather point you there than pretend we compete with them. Start with AI 101, which is free and runs an hour.
When do sessions run?
Two fixed windows, both Eastern time and both live on Zoom. Sessions of an hour to two hours run Fridays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The four-hour half-day runs Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Every dated run is on the calendar on this page with its own register button, and the free AI 101 form gets you the next date by email.
Do I need to be technical?
No. There is no code and no IT background assumed in anything except the Claude Code workshop, which says so on the label. If you can use email and a browser you can follow the rest. Bring a laptop and whatever AI account you already have.
Do we need to buy any software?
No. We work with the tools your team already has, and we do not resell anything. Most teams find the fix is a settings change on a subscription they already pay for, not a purchase. If a paid tier genuinely is the right answer for your situation we will say so, and you will buy it directly, in your own name.
What should our team never paste into an AI tool?
Customer names tied to identifying details, payment information, government ID numbers, health information, unreleased financials, credentials, and anything covered by a client confidentiality agreement. The more useful realization is that most of it was never needed in the first place: a draft proposal needs the scope, the budget and the deadline, not the client’s name and account number. Teaching people to strip a prompt down to what the model actually needs is more durable than a settings change, because the habit survives switching tools.
Which AI tools do you teach: ChatGPT, Claude, or something else?
All of the ones worth knowing, because they are genuinely good at different things and picking the right one is the biggest free improvement most people can make. We run the same prompt through ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini side by side, so you see the difference instead of taking our word for it. Then Perplexity and NotebookLM for research, and the automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) for work that should run without anyone in the chair. We have no vendor to push and take no referral fees.
How much does AI training cost?
The AI 101 is free and always will be. Open seats are priced by length: one hour $99, ninety minutes to two hours $149, the four-hour half-day $299. AI 101 is free. Paid seats include a 30-day replay. Private sessions for your own team: a single workshop is $1,200 for up to 12 people or $1,500 for 13 to 25, and the half-day team session is $2,500 or $3,500 on the same split. Coaching is $250 a session. Nonprofits get 20% off private sessions. Multi-session programs get 10% off at three or more.
Do you train individuals, or only companies?
Both. Individuals usually start with the free AI 101 and move to one-to-one coaching, which is the fastest route when the work is specific to how you personally operate. Teams tend to want the half-day session, because the value is everyone agreeing on the same rules and habits at the same time.
Do you work with nonprofits and associations?
Yes, and they are among the best fits. For member organizations (chambers, professional associations, networks) the usual arrangement is that we run the AI 101 as a member benefit, then build a longer program out of what the room actually asks about. Nonprofit pricing is discounted, so ask.
